The three stages of HydroSteel target different categories of impurity. Stage one (Strata) captures sediment, silt and particulate matter down to 5 microns. Stage two (Carbon) reduces iron, hydrogen sulfide and scale while eliminating odours and chlorine taste. Stage three (Clarity) filters sub-micron contaminants including cryptosporidium, algae and residual chlorine.

Yes — all Everpure products are WaterMark certified, which is the Australian standard for plumbing and drainage products. This means our products have been independently tested and approved for use in Australian plumbing installations — it's the certification your plumber will look for.

Most filtration systems in Australia are point-of-use — they filter water at a single tap. HydroSteel is a whole-premises system, meaning every tap, shower and appliance in your home receives filtered water. The system is housed in powder-coated 304 stainless steel, designed to be seen rather than hidden and engineered specifically for Australian water conditions.

Yes — Australian regulations require a licensed plumber for any connection to your home's water supply. We don't install directly, but we can refer you to an experienced independent contractor we have on file who knows HydroSteel. HydroSteel comes with detailed installation guides, so any licensed plumber can handle the job confidently.

Most households will replace filters every 6 to 12 months, depending on water quality and usage. Each of the three HydroSteel filters (Strata, Carbon, and Clarity) is replaced individually, so you're only changing what's needed. We'll help you establish the right replacement schedule based on your specific conditions.

HydroSteel is designed for straightforward filter replacement, and the integrated pressure release button makes servicing simple. Each of the three filters can be swapped individually without disturbing the others. That said, if you'd prefer a hands-off approach, we can connect you with our recommended independent contractor.
